According to the report, Mhango and his agent, the prominent Mike Makaab, had a meeting with Bucs regarding his limited game-time since the arrival of Mandla Ncikazi as the co-coach this season.

The meeting was where the player and club agreed to part ways at the end of this current season.

“We had a meeting recently, and both parties agreed by mutual consent to part ways. It is a huge relief to me because I was hardly enjoying game time,” Mhango reportedly told the Malawian newspaper The Nation, as per FARPost.

“It has been a stressful season for me, and I can’t wait to move on and, hopefully, this will be a new dawn for my career.”

WHERE TO NEXT?

As far as early possible destinations to new clubs, Mhango is linked with the likes of Royal AM, Kaizer Chiefs, Congolese giants TP Mazembe, and Simba SC of Tanzania as an unnamed leading club in Sweeden.

“He [Makaab] told me that there are a few clubs that he is talking to, and we are having another meeting today [Saturday] for an update,” Mhango added.

“So, that’s where we are, and I am just waiting to see what will come up at the end of the season,” Mhango concluded.
