ORLANDO PIRATES LEAD THE DSTV PREMIERSHIP

Although Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu may overtake the Sea Robbers if both teams win against SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs respectively this weekend, Pirates may reclaim the top spot by 19:00 on Sunday evening.

The lead could be even larger if Sundowns draw or lose to Matstantsa a Pitori, and the same applies if Usuthu fail to get a result against Amakhosi.

But whatever happens elsewhere, the Buccaneers will focus on themselves in Pietermaritzburg.

HERE ARE FIVE THINGS WE EXPECT AT HARRY GWALA

  1. Maritzburg United to have a bigger crowd than Pirates at the Harry Gwala stadium
  2. A possible return for Thembinkosi Lorch
  3. On-loan Bucs star Bongani Sam to have an inspired game for Maritzburg
  4. Richard Ofori, Miguel Timm, Bandile Shandu, and Fortunate Makaringe to perform against their former club
  5. Jose Riveiro to continue with Zakhele Lepasa wide with Eva Nga in the box.
