MTN8: MAMELODI SUNDOWNS 0-3 ORLANDO PIRATES

As The South African website reported on Saturday evening, the Ghosts truly haunted Kabo Yellow in a bubbling Peter Mokaba Stadium with a 3-0 victory.

Kermit Erasmus’ well-positioned header opened the scoring with just eight minutes on the clock -before Saleng finished the job with a brace in the 83rd minute and stoppage time.

KERMIT ERASMUS POURS HIS HEART OUT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Following the hugely emotional event, the 32-year-old Pirates superstar had a heartfelt message to send out online.

After an unhappy two seasons spent more on the bench and the stands than on the pitch at Sundowns, Erasmus has already notched two goals and three assists in four Pirates games.

One of the goals was of course in Saturday’s game against Sundowns and it left Romeo understandably emotional.

The Gqeberha-born star went over to social media to say:

“They will tell u things about me you didn’t know, lies too. One thing they won’t tell you is the truth.  So I just had to become it.”

“#MyEgoTalking. #KE95. Once & Always ☠️☠️☠️. Great atmosphere today at the Peter Stadium. Thank u to all the fans that came to watch football.”

Meanwhile, Erasmus will be hoping to continue his rich form in Pirates’ attack against the mighty Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby on Saturday at 15:30.
