A former Orlando Pirates manager is ‘revealed’ to be in talks with the Dube Birds over their vacant head coach position following the sacking of Brandon Truter and his entire backroom staff!

Swallows FC Chairman David Mogashoa dropped a major hint in the club’s quest to sign a new head coach on Monday afternoon.

Magashoa sent social media ablaze after posting a picture of a virtual meeting taking place between himself and former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic.

‘Micho’ as the Serbian is widely known as, just began his second tenure with the Ugandan national team after recently parting ways with Zambia.

The 52-year-old Serbian mentor managed Orlando Pirates on two previous occasions back in 2006 as well as between 2017 and 2019.

Take a look at the tweet from David Mogashoa that sent social media into a frenzy. “Please don’t disturb me, I am busy.. Please!” said the Swallows Chairman while posting a picture of himself in a virtual meeting with former Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic.

The former Orlando Pirates mentor is reportedly not the only candidate for the job at hand. Former Kaizer Chiefs legend Fani Madida is reportedly in the mix as well.

Legendary South African manager Gavin Hunt is also rumoured to be one of the leading candidates to take over following the sack of Brandon Truter.

Swallows FC currently sit rock bottom of the DStv Premiership log standings following their 3-1 loss against Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend. While the club chairman has confirmed speaking to former Orlando Pirates mentor Milutin Sredojevic, it remains to be seen who’ll actually land the job.
