Orlando Pirates midfielders signature pursued by PSL rivals

Stellenbosch FC have identified a strong Orlando Pirates target who they are very keen to sign soon. Can you guess which Bucs midfielder it is?

Collins Makgaka is the latest Bucs target on Stellies agenda, according to SoccerLaduma.

The out-of-favour Bucs midfielder has struggled for gametime at Mayfair and he could find his way to Stellenbosch at the end of the season.

PIRATES MIDFIELDER HEADING TO STELLIES?

Makgaka is likely to be heading out of Mayfair at the end of the season.

Initially, he was expected to leave in the last two transfer windows. However, he survived the axe twice however it is unlikely to be third time lucky for Makgaka this time around.

Furthermore, he is unlikely to feature much, if at all for the Bucs for the remainder of the season.

This is because he sits behind regular starters Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Kabelo Dlamini while Thabang Monare, Goodman Mosele and Ben Motshwari are even ahead of him despite mainly playing off the bench under Jose Riveiro.

Thankfully, he could find gametime elsewhere.

Stellies have identified him as a key target for the up and coming transfer window, according to the same publication.

Both of Stellies’ midfielders have been linked with an exit and possible move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Meaning, if either or both moves materialize, Steve Barker will need to reinforce his midfield. Therefore, Makgaka is likely to earn more gametime while Stellies can gain an exciting and talented midfielder.
