The Buccaneers have also been tipped to offload veteran goalkeeper Siyabonga Mpontshane.

Mpontshane’s future at Orlando Pirates is under threat according to local publication Kick-Off.

The veteran goalkeeper is likely to follow the likes of Happy Jele, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, Wayne Sandilands and Linda Mtambo who were all offloaded by the club in July.

Mpontshane’s contract comes to a close at the end of June and reports suggest the club are not looking at extending his contract. No extension negotiations have taken place as yet leaving the goalkeeper with a nervy wait.
