Orlando Pirates welcome Golden Arrows to the Orlando Stadium for a blockbuster DStv Premiership clash this afternoon.

The Buccaneers will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after going down in their previous three matches.

Golden Arrows on the other hand are high in confidence. They’re fresh off a victory against Kaizer Chiefs.

Both teams head into today’s fixture on 19 points on the log standings. A victory for either side could see them move up to fifth.

Orlando Pirates rocked by injuries

Jose Riveiro will be without a number of key players this afternoon. Richard Ofori, Olisa Ndah, Thembinkosi Lorch and Thabiso Monyane are likely to miss out through injury.

Furthermore Siyabonga Mpontshane is also a doubt. Orlando Pirates have no suspensions for today’s clash.

Jose wary of dangerous Golden Arrows

“They [Arrows] are very good on transition. One of the probabilities is that they will try to recover the ball and run into spaces with their quick wingers.” – Orlando Pirates coach told Sowetan.

“They have skillful players who can create scoring opportunities with two, three passes. They are a difficult team and we’ll need to be at our best in order to get three points.
