As the silly season kicks on more and more teams are starting to put out feelers for players and PSL transfer rumours abound especially around Orlando Pirates.

Pirates have thrown everyone for a loop with the announcement.
Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare is in talks to join DStv Premiership rivals AmaZulu according to the latest reports.
Monare was released by Pirates earlier this week, and may not stay clubless for long if the reports of interest from AmaZulu.

A source told the Citizen that Amazulu are set on signing the talented playmaker.
“Monare’s experience and demeanour are what the team (AmaZulu) needs and they have made a move for the midfielder because they know he would have many suitors, I believe they have already started the talks with him because they need him as quickly as this weekend. The players are coming back to start preseason on Monday. The club have said they would like it if all the new players were in Durban before Sunday so they can be inducted into the setup at the club before they meet their new teammates on Monday,” said the source.
Orlando Pirates are believed to be closing in on the signing of a Nigeria international who recently became a free agent.
Pirates will now begin their preparations in earnest with a new coach in place, and signings likely to pick up.
