Orlando Pirates have confirmed six player departures. Ironically, six more players are linked with exits. Half a dozen gone, half a dozen to go?

Orlando Pirates have confirmed six departures with several more expected. Ironically, they may only be half way through their exits.

Orlando Pirates have confirmed seven exits.

Six players and one coach has already left Mayfair. However, if this seems like a lot, fans are in for a lot more. Interestingly, as many as six more Pirates players are linked with exits.

PIRATES CLEAN-OUT TO CONTINUE

“Among those rumored to be on the exit list are goalkeepers Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane, Bandile Shandu, Bongani Sam, and Sandile Mthethwa, as well as midfielders Vincent Pule, Monnapule Saleng, Thabang Monare, Fortune Makaringe, and Deon Hotto,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma

Interestingly, Ofori, Mpontshane. Monare, Makaringe have all departed since this report.

Therefore, Shandu, Sam, Mthethwa, Pule, Saleng and Hotto are all expected to leave. This is all part of Pirates plan to compete in next year’s PSL. Furthermore, they want to build depth and refresh the squad ahead of their return to the CAF Champions League.

SEVEN BUCS PLAYERS TO BE LOANED OUT

Additionally, as many as seven players are set to be loaned out.

“You see players like Boiutumelo Radiopane, Azola Matrose, Azola Tshobeni and Cabo Mvhuno are supposed to go back on loan to different teams,” the same publication stated.

Meaning, they are set to continue their loan spells. Meanwhile, another three players are set to be loaned out.

“The potential loan list includes the likes of Katlego Otladisa, Lesedi Kapinga and Thabiso Sesame,” he added.

Therefore, as many as 13 more players could leave the club. As previously mentioned, six more exits are likely. Moreover, as many as seven players could be loaned out. The Bucs are in the same boat as their Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs with Amakhosi set to undergo major changes to personal too.
