Orlando Pirates captain and Bucs legend Happy Jele could be leaving the Soweto giants. In fact, his future is being discussed right now – and it does not look good.

Orlando Pirates captain and Bucs legend Happy Jele could be leaving the Soweto giants. In fact, his future is being discussed right now – and it does not look good.

Pirates are far from done this transfer window with their biggest departure now looking imminent.

Bucs management are currently in meetings discussing Jele’s future. It is looking more and more likely that the 400+ cap veteran will leave, according to Unplayable.

Jele is currently the Buccaneers captain and last standing legend at the club.

If he does leave, the club will need to appoint a new captain much like their rivals, Kaizer Chiefs. Amakhosi have to replace Bernard Parker with Itumeleng Khune being selected as the interim captain in his absence.

Only time will tell if he is made permanent captain by Kaizer and Bobby Motaung, Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard.

For the Bucs, this is a huge decision and certainly the biggest yet for Jose Riveiro and Mandla Ncikazi.
