Orlando Pirates interest in Kaizer Chiefs-bound Sithebe confirmed!

Kaizer Chiefs were NOT the only PSL team interested in signing Siyethemba Sithebe, and this was confirmed by the player’s uncle.

According to the midfielder’s uncle Musawakhe Sihlangu Sithebe who is also the agent, Orlando Pirates were also interested in the deadlocked star.

Sihlangu was speaking in an interview with SA FM where he said Pirates inquired about Sithebe’s contract.

However, there was no formal talks either between Pirates and AmaZulu or Sithebe after that with Chiefs the only club at the forefront.

ORLANDO PIRATES SHOWED INTEREST IN SITHEBE BUT…

“Offers came in thick and fast in January from various teams… Pirates… There were inquirea from other teams.

“However, I am not saying Pirates made an offer. I am saying they made an inquiry with some of the teams without mentioning any name, that made a clear offer.

“And I also believe that they communicated with AmaZulu,” added Sihlangu.
