Orlando Pirates injury and team updates

The Buccaneers look set to be without Thembinkosi Lorch once again due to injury.

The good news however is that Olisa Ndah returns from suspension while Evidence Makgopa and Terrence Dzvukamanja have returned to full fitness.

Orlando Pirates however will have to do the business without two regular starters this evening.

This comes after the PSL confirmed both Richard Ofori and Thabiso Monyane are suspended for tonight’s clash against Richards Bay.

Monyane received a red card in Orlando Pirates’ Tuesday night loss against Sekhukhune United.

As for Ofori, his misdemeanor remains a mystery, perhaps a sending off after the full-time whistle?

“Not the first half we wanted to play even though we started quite okay the first 15 minutes,” Jose Riveiro told SuperSport as quoted by KickOff.

“After that Orlando Pirates didn’t manage to resolve the pressing that Sekhukhune proposed in the second half.

“My feeling in the beginning of the second half was that we are already dominating the game.

“The feeling that the goal will come but then Orlando Pirates had to play with one player less and even with one player less I think we had chances.

“Just before they scored the goal, our feeling was that we gonna make it because we gonna get the advantage even with one less player. But we concede one goal towards the end of the game.”
