Orlando Pirates injury blow as KEY man OUT of Sekhukhune United visit

Orlando Pirates veteran defender and captain Happy Jele looks set to miss today’s DStv Premiership match against Sekhukhune United at the Orlando Stadium.

In their last league outing, Orlando Pirates drew 1-1 with Royal AM – but unfortunately Jele picked up an injury.

The Soweto giants confirmed the news on their website, adding that Thulani Hlatshwayo may make a return to the line-up to partner in-form Olisa Ndah.

“The Buccaneers are likely to be without captain Happy Jele, who limped off early in the second half during last week’s 1-1 draw at home to Royal AM,” the Orlando Pirates website stated.

“This means that the experienced Thulani Hlatshwayo could partner Olisa Ndah in the middle of the defence, with the likes of Kwanda Mngonyama also within a shot of featuring in the matchday squad.”

Kick-off is scheduled for 17:30.
