FIVE Pirates players could be heading out of Mayfair for FREE, according to Goal.

Jose Riveiro and the Bucs are set to be very busy this January transfer window but Bucs fans will hope they don’t lose big stars without any financial value being added to the club.

These five Bucs players contracts are coming to an end very soon.

Furthermore, a couple of these players have fallen out of favour with Riveiro and Pirates management with Monare, Makgaka and Dzvukamanja struggling got gametime. Therefore, they are likely to leave in January.

While Ofori and Mpontshane contracts are also coming to an end at the end of the current DStv Premiership campaign.

However, they are both top class goalkeepers and it would not be surprising to see one, if not both, of their contracts extended.

For the other players, a move out of Mayfair looks more likely than ever before.

Monare has been ravished by injuries since his contract was extended while Makgaka and Dzvukamanja are do far down the pecking order to expect to play regularly for the Bucs. Furthermore, Gavin Hunt and SuperSport United have already expressed interest in Dzvukamanja while Makgaka is expected to be released – or at least loaned out – in January.
