Having been pitch-side for the entire group stage phase, De Sa will take to the SuperSport TV studios for the remainder of the tournament.

“The World Cup is always a special tournament to be part of.” The former Orlando Pirates coach said as quoted by SundayWorld.

“I just wish I could coach in each and every World Cup. We went back to Iran for three days and then I came back home.

“We’re not sure about our future with the national team. But we will resume our talks with the federation in January. We hope to continue with the team next year.

“For now, I am here at home in Cape Town to get some rest. Then I will go to Johannesburg and do some TV work with SuperSport starting on Friday. After the World Cup, I’ll go on holiday for the rest of December.”

In other news, Orlando Pirates defender Sandile Mthethwa has no less than two teams interested in signing him according to reports.

The 25-year-old defender has struggled for game-time at the Buccaneers since returning from loan at the beginning of the season.

Mthethwa spent last season out on loan at Chippa United where he was a regular. He made 24 appearances for the Chilli Boys.

Compare that to this season’s grand total of ZERO appearances and it’s safe to say he’ll welcome another loan move come January.
