Orlando Pirates closing in on the signing of Nigerian international

Orlando Pirates are closing in on a deal that will see them sign Nigerian International Olisa Ndah according to reports.

Orlando Pirates are closing in on a deal that will see them sign Nigerian International Olisa Ndah according to reports.

Although the deal is not yet wrapped up, it is believed that negotiations between Pirates and the camp of Ndah are now at an advanced stage.

Ndah has been on trial at the Buccaneers

Ndah was first reported to have been in the country and on trial at Pirates earlier this month, but updates on his progression or situation at the Buccaneers had largely been kept under wraps. Now after a few quiet weeks, the finally seems to have been update which sounds favourable for the player, the club and it’s faithful. 

Kick Off journalist Lorenz Kohler has reported on his official Facebook page, that Ndah could be a Pirates player soon.

He won the 2020/21 NPFL with United and was in the Team of the Season for two consecutive campaigns.

They have been busy in the window

Pirates have been busy during the current transfer Window having already announced five new signing in Goodman Mosele from Baroka FC, Kwanda Mngonyama, Bandile Shandu both from Maritzburg United, Monnapule Saleng from Free State Stars, who was swiftly moved on to Swallows FC on loan as well as trickster Ntsako Makhubela from Golden Arrows, a player that is their academy product and former captain of their feeder team Yebo Yes FC.

Reports also emerged yesterday that, the shopping spree wouldn’t stop there regardless of whether the move for Ndah is completed or not. It is believed that Pirates have already wrapped up the signing of highly rated Ghana striker Kwame Peprah. The 20-year old hitman scored 12 goals in 32 games for King Faisal in the Ghana Priemer League  last season. He is expected to cost the Sea Robbers R2.3 million.
