Orlando Pirates will visit Kaizer Chiefs in Saturday’s Nedbank Cup clash as favourites. Meanwhile, a key player is training alone.

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs fans are counting the hours now. We are edging so close to Saturday’s Nedbank Cup semi-finals. In the meantime, Thembinkosi Lorch has been spotted training by himself.

After missing the past two games through injury, Lorch was spotted on Thursday morning taking his own training session while his teammates took a different one.

SINKY MNISI TO REPLACE FLOYD MBELE?

Staying with Pirates, the club is in the middle of a major management rushuffle.

The mighty Pirates are set to welcome a new Administrative Manager, with Floyd Mbele having tended in his resignation on Monday.

As announced by the Soweto giants on Monday, the Sea Robbers confirmed the departure of Football Administrator Floyd Mbele.

“Orlando Pirates has accepted the resignation of the club’s Administration Manager, Mr Floyd Mbele. The Club Management wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” Pirates said on the club’s website.

As previously reported by the South African website in March, local outlet Unplayable shared an exclusive audio where the former Highlands Park and Royal AM executive, Sinky Mnisi, claimed he is heading to the Sea Robbers.

Having established Highlands Park and Royal AM as DStv Premiership clubs, Mnisi is viewed as a competent administrator with a solid network of connections around Mzansi and the continent. – READ THE FULL STORY HERE.
