Orlando Pirates offer Thembinkosi Lorch new contract?

“As of now it’s not a done deal. It’s still on the talking stage but it’s a proposed three-year extension to his current contract which is ending on 30th June 2024.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

“You know such talks take time and it also depends on what the team offers and what the player wants.

“So the talks seem to have started even before he returned to action because they knew that his injury will heal and he is still in the team’s plans.

“You have to understand that he extended for the first time in 2021 and that’s why the current contract runs until next year.

“If he agrees to a new contract it will mean it’s the second time he is extending for another three years. But for now, we can’t say it’s a done deal yet. But it looks promising.”
