Orlando Pirates join AmaZulu & Sekhukhune in race for out-of-contract star

Orlando Pirates have reportedly joined AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United for an out-of-contract Marumo Gallants midfielder.

Orlando Pirates have reportedly joined AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United for an out-of-contract Marumo Gallants midfielder.

Miguel Timm is the player Pirates are chasing and should everything go according to plans, the former Mpumalanga Black Aces man will don the famous black and white jersey next season.

Timm’s contract with Gallants is coming to an end in June, and the fact that he hasn’t signed a new deal means he could be lost to the Limpopo-based side.

Like the rest of the PSL teams, Pirates are on a mission to reinforce their squad in an attempt to compete next season.

And Timm understands that playing regularly for Pirates wouldn’t be easy as competition for places is very high in that midfield position.

As things stand, Pirates have the likes of Ben Motshwari, Goodman Mosele and Thabang Monare as their preferred central midfielders.

Siphesihle Ndlovu is among the players struggling for game time at Pirates, and that alone suggests Timm would have to work twice as hard to get into the starting line-up.
