Kaizer Chiefs will NOT have a Zimbabwean representative at the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar!

And this is because Khama Billiat and his Warriors teammates are officially OUT of the race for the qualification of the tournament.

Zimbabwe suffered a 1-0 defeat to Ghana in their fourth qualifying match on Tuesday to remain bottom of Group G with one point.

The result meant Zimbabwe will NOT be able to catch either Bafana Bafana or Ghana who are sitting on 10 and nine points respectively.

Bafana Bafana needed to beat Ethiopia to reclaim their top spot from Ghana, and they did just that as Hugo Broos’ men recorded a narrow 1-0 win over their opponents on the same day.

Billiat, despite being one of the most talented players to come out of Zimbabwe, hasn’t tasted FIFA World Cup football as a player.

However, he tasted FIFA Club World Cup football with Mamelodi Sundowns in December 2016 after winning the CAF Champions League.

The race for the FIFA World Cup qualification in Group G is now between Bafana Bafana and Ghana with Zimbabwe and Ethiopia officially out.
