BREAKING: Ngezana leaves Kaizer Chiefs for Romanian giants!

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of defender Siyabonga Ngezana to Romanian Lige 1 giants Football Club FCSB.

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the departure of defender Siyabonga Ngezana to Romanian Lige 1 giant Football Club FCSB.

The move is a shock to many, given how underrated Ngezana is among the Amakhosi fans despite putting in some solid shifts.

In a statement released on Thursday, Chiefs said they sold Ngezana to the Romanian giants for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old defender leaves Chiefs having played 123 competitive games, 23 of which came last season, since his debut in 2017.

KAIZER CHIEFS SELL NGEZANA TO ROMANIAN GIANTS

NGEZANA IS KAIZER CHIEFS’ SECOND ACADEMY GRADUATE TO BE SOLD IN SIX MONTHS

Ngezana becomes the second Chiefs academy graduate to be sold to an overseas club six months after Njabulo Blom in January.

Blom joined Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit St. Louis City SC in the United States in January after showing huge improvement in his game.

Now, Ngezana hopes to join a long list of South African players flying the country’s flag high overseas.

Furthermore, Ngezana is the second player to officially leave Chiefs this off-season after Erick Mathoho, who was deemed surplus to requirements.
