It’s all to play for in this evening’s Nedbank Cup semi-final between Sekhukhune United and Stellenbosch FC.

Stellenbosch booked their place in the last four by defeating defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarter finals.

Sekhukhune United overcame Chippa United in the last eight to book their place in today’s semi-final.

The winner will face Orlando Pirates in the 2023 Nedbank Cup final after they defeated Kaizer Chiefs in semi-final one.

“You know, when you get this far in the Nedbank cup, you have to try and go all the way,” Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker said as quoted by FarPost.

“We are hungry for success, hungry to finish the season really strong. If we get to the final, then we can look back and say it’s been a good season.

“The Nedbank Cup is a different competition, it’s not the same stress as the league, and we have done well.

“There’s no pressure on us, just reaching the semi-finals has been a success for us.

“Nothing is stopping us from having a full go because if we can make the final, then it would be a massive achievement.
