The Nedbank Cup quarterfinal dates, times and venues have been confirmed, with the action spread across three days.

The previous two rounds of the 2020 edition of the competition have seen their fair share of upsets, leaving just six top-flight teams out of the remaining eight.

The survivors are set to slug it out for top four spots from Friday 13 March and the semifinalists will be decided by Sunday afternoon.

Kicking off proceedings is the David vs Goliath clash between Real Kings and Bidvest Wits, which takes place at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, in Clermont, Durban.

The Championship outfit find themselves in unfamiliar territory, as they are set to contest their first quarterfinal after seeing off lower league sides on their way to the top eight.

They come up against a side which has gone all the way before, winning the tournament in 2018.

Saturday has two fixtures lined up, both featuring teams plying their trade in the top division.

The Limpopo derby between Baroka and Black Leopards kicks things off in the afternoon at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

It is followed by what is undoubtedly the clash of the round, as four-time champions Mamelodi Sundowns head on to the slaughterhouse that is Makhulong Stadium, where they will face Highlands Park.

The Tshwane Giants are the Lions of the North’s second high-profile visitors at the venue after Kaizer Chiefs met their end there in the Round of 16.

The visitors, on the other hand, brushed aside minnows Vaal University of Technology to make it through to the last eight.

The last semifinal spot will be determined on Sunday afternoon, as TS Sporting host Bloemfontein Celtic at Kanyamazane Stadium near Nelspruit.

The draw for the semis takes place soon after the last fixture.
