The Chilli Boys upset mighty Kaizer Chiefs in their most recent DStv Premiership clash this weekend at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The three points saw Chippa United move into seventh place in the standings with 14 points after 10 matches, thanks to four wins, two draws and four defeats.
They have a game in hand over four of the six teams ahead of them in the log.

Certainly a far cry from their struggles in recent seasons.

Mammila, who took over the reins from Daine Klate, became the first coach to win each of his first three league matches in charge of Chippa United.
The last time Chippa United won three matches on the trot was in August 2016.
Besides knocking over Amakhosi, Chippa United have also beaten AmaZulu 2-1 (away) and Marumo Gallants 1-0 (home).
They will next be in action at home against Sekhukhune United on Tuesday, 18 October at 17:00.
