Recently promoted Kaizer Chiefs youngster Mduduzi Shabalala has become the third youngest player to score for Glamour Boys.
Amakhosi managed to bounce back from the Royal AM defeat they suffered this past weekend when they won 3-0 against Maritzburg United on Tuesday night.

Adding to Ashley du Preez and Keagan Dolly’s goals was Shabalala’s effort which came deep in stoppage time.
Amakhosi’s wonderkid was introduced three minutes before the end of regulation time.
He wasn’t expected to do much as Kaizer Chiefs were already well in control of the game.
Perhaps keeping the opposition’s defenders busy with runs behind them was the aim, but getting a goal was a cherry on top.

At 18 years, 6 months and 20 days, Shabalala became the third youngest player to score for Amakhosi.
The two who did it sooner were Mandla Masango who was 18 years and 28 days old while Wiseman Meyiwa, the record holder, was aged 17 years, 8 months and 18 days as per OptaJabu.
