Leonardo Castro and Lebogang Manyama were injured. Njabulo Ngcobo did not even play and the new highest-paid player in the league, Keegan Dolly, only came on in the second half.
Castro and Manyama are a key part of this Chiefs side and they were ineligible due to injuries. You then look at some of the most exciting young names in the team like Kgaogelo Sekgotla, Sabelo Radebe and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
For starters, Sekgotla underperformed but will only grow into his potential as he trains and plays in this Chiefs squad. Radebe and Ngcobo are youngsters and Ngcobo with talent in abundance and potential that can take them to the top.
Khama Billiat also looked dangerous and even scored agaisnt hiss former side.
Finally, Reeve Frosler only came on late in the second half. He is an instrumental part of this Chiefs side.
Sifiso Hlanti excelled on defense and the counter and we still have the enthralling young talent of Sibusiso Mabiliso, itching to get onto the pitch and prove his worth in the green and black of Amakhosi.

Chiefs faced a well-oiled and organized outfit that has dominated SA for years while they are rebuilding.
