Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has opened up on the club’s plans for the upcoming January transfer window.

The Buccaneers did some good business in the recently closed transfer window with their signings having made a major impact in Jose Riveiro’s team.

Kermit Erasmus, who joined from Mamelodi Sundowns, has scored two goals and provided three assists in five appearances.

Miguel Timm and Nkosinathi Sibisi have also claimed their spots in the starting line-up.

Monnapule Saleng, who was on loan at Swallows, returned to the fold and is currently the most talked about footballer in the league following his remarkable performances recently.

Ncikazi says the club would like to reinforce the squad in January, but didn’t disclose the areas they want to bolster.

NCIKAZI ON POSSIBLE ADDITIONS IN JANUARY

“It’s a wish of every of coach to add but normally we don’t disclose because once you disclose then it becomes a competition for everybody,” Ncikazi told Marawa Sports Worldwide.

“But I’m sure our management and relevant people are working on something, hopefully it works out.

“Remember the process of signing players is so complicated now and the competition is so stiff but I’m sure there is something that they are looking for.”
