According to iDiski Times, Sundowns have let go of Bhongolwethu Siyasi albeit on loan to Venda Football Academy (VFA).

Siyasi has been playing for the Sundowns reserve team in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC), and he would have hoped for promotion to the first team.

The 20-year-old defender, though, understands that competition for places is tough at Sundowns with all the experienced and quality players in his position.

Siyasi would use this opportunity to take his football career to another level with VFA in the Motsepe Foundation Championship until the end of the season.

The Khayelitsha-born starlet previously played for Ajax Cape Town before moving to Gauteng to sign for Sundowns.

“Mamelodi Sundowns have loaned Bhongolwethu Siyasi to Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda Football Academy, iDiski Times can confirm,” reports iDiski Times.
