Mamelodi Sundowns send three more players out on loan?

Mamelodi Sundowns have taken a deadline day decision on three of their first team players according to the latest reports.

Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly sent three first team players out on loan on the PSL’s transfer deadline day!

Three first team Brazilian players will be plying their trade in the Motsepe Foundation Championship for the remainder of the campaign.

According to reports, Luvuyo Phewa, Keletso Makgalwa and Promise Mkhuma are all heading out on loan until the end of the season.

They join fifth choice goalkeeper Jody February who also secured a loan move to AmaZulu during the recently concluded transfer window.

“Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Luvuyo Phewa looks set to join Cape Town Spurs on a six-month loan deal.” an IdiskiTimes report read.

“Sundowns are also understood to have reached an agreement with Motsepe Foundation Championship side All Stars for the loans of Keletso Makgalwa and Promise Mkhuma.”

In other news, Andile Jali has entered into the final six months of his contract at Mamelodi Sundowns FC.

While one would assume the Brazilians would be rushing to extend last season’s midfielder of the season’s contract, this isn’t quite the case!

According to the player’s agent Mike Makaab, Sundowns are yet to make a move regarding Jali’s future!

Worryingly, the former Bafana Bafana midfield star has only started six league matches this season.

In fact, Jali has been an unused substitute on seven occasions for Mamelodi Sundowns this season!

While it remains to be seen whether the club will extend his contract or not, his agent has confirmed that there’s no movement by the club as yet!

“I think it’s decision time for them. And if they don’t want Andile then they need to let us know and then we have to respect that and we have to move on,” Makaab said as quoted by Thisisfootball.

“His first choice would be to stay at Mamelodi Sundowns but if he’s not part of the coach’s plan, he’s a quality player and he’s got five months left on his contract.

“As I’ve said to you, there are number of teams that have enquired about him. Not only locally but outside our borders.

“Again, I have to respect Mamelodi Sundowns, they’ve always been professional in the way they’ve dealt with us. But I think in this particular case we’ve got to bring this thing to a head. There is no doubt about it.”
