Mamelodi Sundowns star emerges as transfer target for Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly

Egyptians giants Al Ahly have reportedly turned their attention to Mamelodi Sundowns forward Peter Shalulile after failing to land his team-mate Gastón Sirino.

Sirino was heavily linked with a transfer to Al Ahly for months and a reunion with former coach Pitso Mosimane.

Having cooled their interest in Sirino, Al Ahly are reportedly contemplating a move for his team-mate Peter Shalulile.

The Namibia international striker only joined the Brazilians last September from Highlands Park, but has been a key figure for them by scoring 14 goals in 25 matches.

Pitso Mosimane’s team have lacked goals among their strikers this season and the team is crying out for a top level striker.

Aside from Mohamed Sherif, who scored six times this season, each of Walter Bwalya, Salah Mohsen, and Marwan Mohsen have only three goals in 33 matches among them.
