A former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker could resurface in South America in the next few weeks as he looks to revive his career.

A former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker could resurface in South America in the next few weeks as he looks to revive his career.

Ali Meza is currently unemployed after his contract with Maritzburg United was terminated this week.

Born in Venezuela, Meza confirmed to KickOff that he has already left South Africa, and that he’s back home to try and plot the way forward.

The 30-year-old revealed that he’s waiting for a few clubs to get back to him in regard to possibly joining them now that he is a free agent.

However, he also didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to South Africa to continue plying his trade in the PSL should there be an offer.

“For sure, I would like to come back to South Africa if I get an offer.”
