Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly planning on sending Thabiso Kutumela out on loan ahead of next season.

The former Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United man enjoyed limited game-time at Chloorkop last season.

In fact, Kutumela made just three starts for Rhulani Mokwena’s side this season.

“The good thing is both the club and the player agree that for now a loan move is the best solution to the situation that they are faced with.” a source told SoccerLaduma.

“He had a chance to play before but if you look at the other players that the team brought in then his chances of playing are becoming very slim.

“So, they have decided that it’s better to loan him out for next season. You know his contract runs until June 2026 so he can not just be sitting without playing if you look at his age.

“For now, it’s not known which team he will be loaned to because they have just taken that decision.”

In other news, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has confirmed that he’ll be willing to re-sign struggling Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo.

Ngcobo has struggled to replicate the form that saw him win the Defender of The Season award with Swallows.

Despite being at Naturena for two seasons now, Ngcobo hasn’t adjusted to life as a Glamour Boy.

And now, Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa has offered him a ‘get out of jail free’ card!

“Very disappointed, I think he’s also disappointed that he did not get game time. I’m open to talks if they (Kaizer Chiefs) want to send him out, I’m willing to take him.” – Swallows FC chairman David Mogashoa told SoccerLaduma.

“He did very well at Swallows. I always say to people the pressure at Swallows is not the same pressure at Chiefs. You can be a very good player at Swallows and be a bad player at Chiefs.”
