The PSL has confirmed that the DStv Premiership clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates won’t take place on New Year’s eve.

The PSL has confirmed that the blockbuster DStv Premiership clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will no longer take place on New Year’s eve.

The clash was scheduled for Saturday, 31 December 2022 at 17:30, but will now take place on Friday, 30 December 2022 at 15:30.
Loftus Versfeld remains the venue.

As a reminder, Mamelodi Sundowns lead the standings as the league currently enjoys a break due to the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Masandawana have played 12 matches and have 28 points.
Orlando Pirates are in fifth place with 19 points having already played 13 matches.
