ANDILE JALI AND SIPHO MBULE IN DISCIPLINARY TROUBLE

As The South African reported last Thursday, the Sundowns duo of Jali (32) and Mbule (24) were said to have arrived at training under the influence of alcohol.

According to TimesLIVE, the duo’s transgressions happened on two separate occasions: Jali last week, while Mbule’s episode took place this week.

Meanwhile, Jali has missed four consecutive camps while Mbule was back against Stellenbosch FC on Sunday.

THREE KIDS GET DEBUTS

With Jali missing from the bench, Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has handed debuts to three midfielders from the academy in the past week.

The first was the 20-year-old Thando Buthelezi in Bloemfontein against Marumo Gallants last Thursday, before we later met Ntando Nkosi (18) and Siyanda Nyanga (21) against Stellenbosch FC on Sunday.

Is it the beginning of the end for Jali and Mbule? Time will tell.
