As the closest chasers, SuperSport United traveled to Soweto to battle Pirates on Saturday night. Despite a 1-0 victory for the Sea Robbers, the biggest winner on the night was Sundowns, thanks to a late penalty conversion by Tapelo Xoki.

The result meant Mokwena’s team need just one more point in the remaining seven games to become DStv Premiership champions for a record sixth time in a row.
