SUNDOWNS LEGEND RECALLS MUTI SMOKING

During a chat with Kick Off, Ramasike knew he had seen it all when he and his former Sundowns teammates experienced the extremes of muti by smoking an unnamed substance.

“At Swallows, the use of Muti was the order of the day, Yhoo!! he told KickOff.

But the special day came on the occasion Sundowns visited Vaal Professionals. Ramasike’s details suggest the substance might have been ‘dagga.’

“But the best of them all came at Sundowns when we played Vaal Professional,” he continued.

“That is something I will never forget.

“We were ordered to put our feet inside some buckets filled with muti, then from that room, you go to step 1 and step 2.

“In step 2 you smoke something…

“I’m telling you by the time we reached half-time, we were losing 3-0.

“Those days Vaal Professional had the likes of Robinson Seakamela as part of their front-line, in that match I could feel we were under the influence.

“Remember we are not talking about smoking one thing, we are talking about plenty, you smoke here you smoke there… it was a puff and pass all round.

“That thing made us be very slow that day, imagine being willing to get to the other end of a pass but you are unable to (laughs).

“We lost the match with about four goals,” Ramasike added.
