Zungu has so far been an unfit flop. Since the announcement of the deal on 14 August, the former AmaTuks and Amiens midfielder has played just two league games.

“I knew, and I know that he demands more and more from me, and I just want to work hard, and when I do get an opportunity to play, I will do well,” Zungu concluded without giving specific details.

Meanwhile, Zungu is not really expected to start when Sundowns battle Orlando Pirates in the DStv Premiership on 31 December.
