Sundowns star reveals his two best World Cup players

Everybody knows Mamelodi Sundowns’ Cassius Mailula by now, surely? How can you not after he scored a fabulous brace against Orlando Pirates aged 21?

According to the striker from Limpopo’s Ga-Molepo, Paris Saint Germain and Argentina superstar Lionel Messi is due a World Cup medal.

“I have to go for Lionel Messi. No words describe him because he has broken all kinds of records,” Mailula told the Mamelodi Sundowns magazine.

“I love his movements with and without the ball. I hope he finally gets the chance to win the World Cup with Argentina.

BRAZIL STARS

Mailula also added to reveal he is quite a big fan of Brazil’s ‘A Seleciao’ and who isn’t really?

“Vinicius Junior from Brazil and Real Madrid. He is still young, but the way he takes on seasoned players is amazing,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mailula is expected to start when Sundowns take on Orlando Pirates on 31 December in Tshwane.
