Agent: Mamelodi Sundowns tabled offer for Mbule, and NOT Kaizer Chiefs

Mamelodi Sundowns are the ONLY team that tabled a concrete offer for the services of SuperSport United star Sipho Mbule.

And that’s according to Mbule’s agent Mike Makaab who spoke at length about the player’s situation on Gagasi FM on Friday.

Makaab said while there was talk of Mbule possibly moving to Kaizer Chiefs, the truth is that the Soweto giants never tabled an offer.

Furthermore, Makaab said Mbule will NOT leave SuperSport United in this transfer window despite huge interest in services.

“Whatever I am going to say, I have said it a month ago and weeks ago that chances of Mbule leaving in this transfer window are slim,” said Makaab.

“So, Sipho Mbule will not leave SuperSport United in this transfer window.

“There is massive interest in Mbule from two clubs – there was a third club, and that club is from outside Gauteng but I will leave that to the listeners of Gagasi FM in Durban.

“The only club that made an offer for Sipho Mbule is Mamelodi Sundowns. There was a lot of discussions with Chiefs but Sundowns are the only club that made an offer,” added Makaab.
