“We are here today to relaunch the Zebediela branch after our late star Motjeka Madisha passed on and we felt that there is a need to keep his spirit alive,” said chairperson of the Limpopo Sundowns supporters, Ntshumeni Thando.

“We have arranged and agreed with this branch that they must keep his spirit alive and the legacy must go on. Remember last year Mamelodi Sundowns was celebrating their 50th anniversary, so the then club president Patrice Motsepe gave funds to each province in order to slaughter a cow and celebrate the 50th anniversary.

“So by then due to covid restrictions we had to postpone the event and during the course of the year when we were wondering where to have this event, we realised that we’ve got a real purpose to have this event here at Zebediela, so we are here today to relaunch the Zebediela branch, in that way we will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary wherein the cow that has been given by the team, we have slaughtered it, and the celebrations take place here today,” he said.
