Bad news for Mamelodi Sundowns. The ever-fit Peter Shalulile could be missing for an extended period due to a complex injury.

Mamelodi Sundowns will look quite strange without Peter Shalulile, the 28-year-old Namibian is hardly ever injured or exhausted.
A confirmed muscular injury has meant Shalulile could definitely miss the MTN8 semi-final game against Orlando Pirates this weekend.

“We will update you as he’s got a bit of a complicated situation,” Sundowns’ co-coach Rhulani Mokwena told the Times’ Mahlatse Mphahlele.
“We are trying to see various specialists and get different opinions.
“So anything that I say will be just based on suspicion and not fact. So let’s wait, let’s wait a little bit and the club will make an update.
“At the moment he is unavailable because there is a little bit of a complication with Peter. When I say complication I mean muscular.
“Nothing else, just muscular. So let’s wait, we are trying to get different opinions and feedback from different specialists.
“Anything I see at his moment will just be mere speculation. The proper diagnosis of the situation has to take place and then we will know what the way forward is,”
