Mamelodi Sundowns are continuing to trim their bloated squad. Pule Maraisane has become the latest player to depart.

Former Orlando Pirates star Pule Marasaine has left Mamelodi Sundowns to play his football at Marumo Gallants.

MARAISANE LEAVES MAMELODI SUNDOWNS

Following a season on the fringes of Kabo Yellow’s squad, the 27-year-old attacking midfielder has been announced at Bahlabane Ba Ntwa.

His move was confirmed alongside another fellow new face: Olivier Toure from Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosa.

“We are excited to announce the signing of 2 more players that would assist in strengthening the team,” Gallants reported.

“Pule Maraisane (27) former @masandawana (Sundowns) (Midfielder, Winger, Attacker) & Olivier Toure (25) central defender from @ASECMimosas.

“Let’s welcome them,” the club concluded.

The Limpopo-based club did not confirm the length of the respective contracts, and whether Sundowns have loaned Maraisane or not.

The duo could mark their Gallants debut away to Orlando Pirates on Wednesday evening at the Orlando Stadium at 19:30.
