Breaking: Williams spotted at Sundowns’ Chloorkop

Just who’s going to catch Mamelodi Sundowns? One of the best goalkeepers in Mzansi Ronwen Wiliams seems destined for the champions.


What a team Mamelodi Sundowns will become if they sign Ronwen Williams. Reports say the SuperSport United star was seen at Chloorkop on Tuesday.

It seems like a done-deal is imminent between Kabo Yellow and SuperSport for Williams.

According to FarPost, the Bafana Bafana number one was at Sundowns’ offices, and surely he was not there just to see how the place looks, was he?

The 30-year-old Gqeberha-born keeper has been heavily linked with a move to the 2016 African champions.

This report also follows after coach Rhulani revealed that the Tshwane giants are keen to refresh their goalkeeping department.

It is safe to say that Williams is likely to greet Sundowns fans with the Sky is the Limit and minwana phezulu salute, come August when the PSL season kicks off in Cape Town.

The defending champions will battle Cape Town City on Friday 5 August.
