Result: SuperSport United v Sundowns Tshwane derby ends in a draw

The top-of-the-table DStv Premiership clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United ended goalless at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

Sundowns had entered the match at the top of the log on 24 points, two points ahead of Matsatsantsa.

And that’s the way the gap remained after neither side was able to find the back of the net.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS REMAIN UNBEATEN THIS SEASON

Defending champions Sundowns remained unbeaten after 11 matches this season.

Sundowns will next be in action at home on Tuesday, 19 January against Bloemfontein Celtic (17:00), while SuperSport United will play host to AmaZulu in their next assignment on Wednesday, 20 January (17:00).

Meanwhile, in the other early DStv Premiership match on Saturday, Golden Arrows beat TTM 1-0.
