The Brazilians head to the fixture having lost in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League over the weekend and face a tough encounter against a Cape Town City side which has only lost one league match in their last eight.

In their last league encounter on 20 November 2021 in the Mother City, the match ended 0-0.
