Lehlohonolo Seema takes positives from latest Black Leopards defeat

Lehlohonolo Seema expects to turn losses into wins in the final weeks of the 2020/21 Dstv Premiership season after Black Leopards’ battling performance against Swallows FC.

Black Leopards are bottom of the league standings and suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Dube Birds at the Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday.

But such was his side’s performance, that Seema is confident of a good run of form.

With just eight matches remaining, Lidoda Duvha are on 13 points, four behind second-from-bottom Chippa United.

After the weekend’s game, Lehlohonolo Seema told SuperSport: “We are not throwing in the towel. We will keep on soldiering on.

“There are a lot of positives that we can get from this game and we came up against a very good team and yeah we will soldier on.

“We came here to win the match and I cannot fault them for the fight and the way we started the match.

“If we can fight like this I am sure we can get two or three wins along the way. It is always difficult to pick them up after we fought like this and they have nothing to show.”

Black Leopards will next be in action at home against Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday, 21 April.
