The Premier Soccer League continues its midseason break but clubs like Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Amazulu and Sundowns are all keen to beef up their squads.

The latest PSL transfer rumours

Former Orlando Pirates winger wanted by PSL clubs

Sekhukhune United and Amazulu are rumoured to be interested in signing free agent Justin Shonga.

The former Orlando Pirates winger, who featured prominently during the Micho-era, endured a nightmare stint in Egypt where he was reportedly not paid by Egyptian Premier League club Ismailly.

According to Soccer Laduma Sekhukhune United have made a firm to the player while Amazulu are monitoring the situation.

Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo is reportedly wanted by Kaizer Chiefs who are eager to ensure they are well stocked in the centre forward department.

Kaizer Chiefs have suffered due to long-term injuries to the club’s targetmen Samir Nurkovic and Leonardo Castro.

Despite being linked with Kaizer Chiefs for some time Letsoalo claimed they have not been in direct contact with him or his agent.

“That one, it was just a rumour,” Letsoalo said on SAFM in December 2021. “I have never been in any contact with Chiefs or even my agent; we never know about that, it was just a rumour.

“I did not take it serious because a rumour is a rumour, I just had to work because my contract was here, I just had to focus where I am.”

Orlando Pirates want Nigerian striker

Chibuike Ohizu has scored five goals in his first seven matches in the PSL for Sekhukhune United and is attracting interest from Orlando Pirates.

Orlando Pirates feel the need to reinforce their striking options ahead of the Caf Confederations Cup group stage after a league campaign blighted by a failure to make the most of their chances.

Yusuf Maart is reportedly being tailed by all the members of the PSL’s so-called big three.

It seems Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs would like him on their books and Orlando Pirates regret letting him go.

Maart has impressed in the colours of Bafana Bafana but it will take some doing to convince Sekhkhune United to part with their star man.
