We bring you the latest PSL transfer rumours with the likes of Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs moving and shaking behind the scenes.

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs chasing striker

Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to go head-to-head for the services of Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo.

We are sure Shauwn Mkhize is in no mood to let the former Bloemfontein Celtic man go, but if he keeps banging in goals he will keep drawing attention from the PSL’s big boys.

With Letsoalo likely to command a seven-figure transfer fee, it is likely that only the biggest and richest clubs in South Africa can afford to pursue the Bafana striker.

Another striker on Orlando Pirates radar

Sekhukhune’s Nigerian striker Chibuike Ohizu has also reportedly drawn the eye of Orlando Pirates.

Ohizu’s agent says that the player is flattered by the links but wants to stay where he is for the time being.

His agency told Soccer Laduma: “Yes, Chibuike Ohizu is under YoBoy Management and we are happy with his progress because he is doing well and scoring goals. I think four goals from seven matches is a good statistic. But as for interest and enquiries on his services, I mean the season has just started and the boy is fully focused on Sekhukhune United to help them in the league. The boy is not for sale and his aim is to help Sekhukhune. It’s too early to entertain such enquiries and there is currently no price tag for the boy as far as I understand.”

Zidane makes call on Manchester United job

Former Al Ahly assistant manager Cavin Johnson has confirmed his availability to take job offers in the PSL.

Speculation has been rife that Johnson was set to join Orlando Pirates as head coach but it seems he is open to any PSL move and hasn’t made up his mind.

“I have been relaxing with my family. I am ready to work and listen from any offers,” Johnson told Kickoff.com.

“I just see all the reports on newspapers. I have not been approached by any team. At the moment there is nothing, lets wait and see what will happen.”

Kaizer Chiefs chase Orlando Pirates reject

Kaizer Chiefs have identified a Bafana Bafana midfielder Yusuf Maart as a priority target according to fresh reports.

Maart spent some time in the Orlando Pirates setup but couldn’t break through to the first team.

He has impressed recently at Sekhukhune and especially in the national team under Hugo Broos, drawing the eye of the other Soweto giants.
