PSL: Five top-flight transfers you may have missed
A few players have found new homes during the lockdown.

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) may be at a standstill currently, but there has been some transfer activity happening nonetheless.
Sport has taken a backseat in the past few weeks, with the world’s focus firmly on a global pandemic, and some players have quietly made moves amidst all of this.
It has not been any different in the local top flight, where there have been a few transfers.
The most high-profile of these involved defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who secured the services of midfield pair George Maluleka and Grant Margeman from Kaizer Chiefs and Ajax Cape Town respectively.
However, there have been more transfers happening during the period between the close of the January window and now.
Brad Norman – Supersport United to Sportivo Luqueno (Paraguay)
Twenty-three-year old goalkeeper Brad Norman spent his first season at Supersport United loaned out to first-division outfit Swallows and left the Pretoria side without having made a senior appearance.
Just weeks before the league was suspended, Norman scored a move to Paraguayan top-flight outfit Sportivo Luqueno, where he signed for a year and a half.
Simon Murray – Bidvest Wits – No club
Scottish striker Simon Murray had a frustrating second season in the PSL, spending most of it sidelined by injury before catching one of the last flights out of South Africa before borders were closed.
The 28-year-old is now without a club and will be looking to have secured a deal by the time live action returns.
Kouassi Kouadja – Cape Town City to FK Aktobe (Kazakhstan)
Kouadja last played for Cape Town City and spent some weeks on trial at Orlando Pirates before securing a move to Kazakhstan in February.
The promising young Ivorian defender has spent much of his spell in South Africa battling injury and will be hoping his move to FK Aktobe yields some game time.
Karabo Tshepe – Black Leopards – No club
Attacking midfielder Karabo Tshepe was once hot property on the local scene, but his return to the top flight with Black Leopards has seen him struggle to string together a succession of appearances, ultimately leading to his departure from the Limpopo-based side.
Boy de Jong – Stellenbosch – No club
Stellenbosch were one of the clubs to release a player ahead of the lockdown, parting ways with Dutch goalkeeper Boy de Jong who joined earlier in the season.
