Amakhosi haven’t tasted a win in their last three games while the Buccaneers are high on confidence having won twice in a row.

And what made their last win even sweeter was that they thrashed Mamelodi Sundowns 3-0 in their MTN8 semi-final second leg, a side that they have struggled to beat since 2020.

“We are looking forward to a difficult game because someone said that Pirates are oozing confidence,” he said in the press conference.

“They have been winning games and are also in the final of MTN8.

“But when Chiefs and Pirates meet, previous form counts for nothing. What matters most is on the day of the game as to who is going to be in charge of the game, who’s gonna dictate terms, who’s gonna take goal-scoring opportunities that will be created on the day.

“So, it’s all about that.”
